tBrenda is an animal behaviourist and registered pharmacist.  As a member of the DELTA Professional Dog Trainers Association and member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia she is bound by the ethical training requirements of each organization. She has completed her DELTA Cert IV qualification in animal behaviour and is a Canine Good Citizen™ Instructor. She has been running Puppy Preschool classes, Pet Dog Training and consulting on behaviour problems for approximately 10 years in association with Terry’s previous veterinary clinic. Brenda has always had a passion for animals and has been surrounded by dogs, cats and birds all her life. Her interest in and knowledge of animal behaviour has increased over the last ten years. Brenda has routinely attended Veterinary Behaviour streams of the Australian Veterinary Association Annual Conferences, World Small Animal Veterinary Association, Australian Veterinary Behaviour Interest Group and APDT and DPDTA. Workshops and lectures round out the dedication to continuing education in the animal behaviour field. Brenda has taught in the "Safe Pets Out There" program which involved educating children Kindergarten to Year 2 about dog safety and caring for pets. Brenda can be contacted via email -

Brenda Theakstone
Terry grew up in Eastwood living in his grandparents homestead on a peach orchard off Herring Road. At this time Terry was involved in breeding, showing and training Dobermann dogs. Terry was a member and instructor at the Brush Farm Dog Training Club at Eastwood. Registered as a veterinary surgeon in December 1969 after completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Sydney University, Terry has refined his skills since graduation working RSPCA and in his own Small Animal practices in Sydney.
Terry officiated for many years at cat shows and was appointed as the Royal Agricultural Society Official Veterinarian at the Easter Show. He is a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists by examimination in Feline Medicine and is currently sitting for Membership in Animal Behaviour.
